Eulmore (X:12.4, Y:11.2)

The Converging Light

When yet another starshower manifests over Norvrandt, the Warriors of Darkness find themselves under attack from mysterious spectral foes, who by all appearances are being summoned forth with the selfsame magick the Crystal Exarch employs─a magick that should lie beyond even the Ascians' ken. Seeking to take the battle away from innocent civilians, the heroes flee Eulmore in an airship, setting course for the Crystarium...

Bosses

Spectral Thief

In this encounter, the boss has several abilities that players need to be aware of. First, there is the "Spectral Dream" which is a tankbuster attack. Next, the boss will use the "Chicken Knife" ability, which consists of line AOEs targeting each party member from the corners. The Trust NPCs will stack in the center to avoid the damage. The boss also has a move called "Dash" where it will teleport to a marked location and unleash a circle AOE attack, inflicting vulnerability stacks. The "Shadowdash" ability is similar, but the boss will teleport itself and its shadow to two marked locations and unleash either a circle AOE or a line AOE. It is important to note that the AOEs are marked, but the boss will move first. Both "Dash" and "Shadowdash" inflict vulnerability stacks on the party. The boss also uses "Spectral Whirlwind" which deals raidwide damage, and "Spectral Gust" which marks AOE attacks on all party members. It is important for the party members to spread out and not stack during "Spectral Gust."

Spectral Necromancer

In this encounter, there are several abilities to be aware of. Firstly, "Twisted Touch" is a tankbuster attack that should be mitigated. "Chaos Storm" is a raidwide ability that affects the entire party. "Absolute Dark II" is a powerful cone AOE attack that inflicts a cleanseable status called "Doom" and should be evaded. The boss also uses "Necromancy" to summon four zombies, with each one tethered to a different party member. The zombies come in two forms: walking and crawling. The walking zombies have a light tether and will automatically attack the tethered player before dying in preparation for "Necroburst". The crawling zombies have a smoky tether and will inflict "Rigor Mortis" if they catch their target. They slowly approach at first, but will quickly close the gap after an AOE marker if they haven't caught anyone. "Necroburst" occurs when the zombies explode, causing heavy damage and potentially applying vulnerability stacks if they were summoned as walking zombies. "Pain Mire" creates five large circle AOEs that inflict vulnerability stacks on players and leave behind bleed puddles. Lastly, "Dark Deluge" drops a circle AOE on each player, causing vulnerability stacks and should be dodged.

Distant Ideal: Spectral Berserker

The Spectral Berserker has several powerful abilities in its arsenal. The first is Beastly Fury, a raidwide damage attack that also fills the arena's edges and corners with bleed puddles. Wild Anguish is another ability that inflicts a stack attack, causing Magic Vulnerability Up for a few seconds. Raging Slice is a line AOE attack in front of the berserker that inflicts vulnerability stacks. This ability is cast in succession, starting with two slices and increasing to three for the rest of the fight. Wild Rage is a dangerous move that creates an instakill circle and knockback, leaving behind a crater. Falling Rock is an attack that drops a rock on each party member and is followed by a quick succession of Wild Anguish. To survive, it is important to stack with the rocks instead of each other. Wild Rampage is a devastating ability that deals massive damage and inflicts vulnerability stacks, almost guaranteeing a one-hit knockout. To avoid this, it is necessary to stand in the crater left by the Wild Rage attack. However, standing in the crater will also inflict stacks every second, becoming Truly Berserk at 8 stacks. This forces players to auto-attack the boss and take significant self-damage with each hit. It is crucial to move out of the crater as soon as Wild Rampage is complete.
